Foster Photography reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice as long as they are posted on this page in legible terms.
Please note: All clients must agree the Terms and Conditions here specified. By submitting a registry the client agrees to the Terms and Conditions of Foster Photography's Gift Registry.
ACCEPTANCE All clients are fully aware that by submitting their registry information that they are granting "Foster Photography" the right to publish this on their web site. In addition, the said client understands they are responsible for all accuracy in their pages and Foster Photography is not responsible for any misprints. The client also understands that any pictures submitted for posting on the registry web page must not violate any law, infringements or copyright unless you are the copyright owner of such item. Foster Photography has the right to deny any pictures to be posted on the client's web page they find distasteful, obscene hateful or abusive. Clients agree to indemnify Foster Photography against all claims, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or related to use of this site.
PRICING Prices are to be paid in the nominated Australian currency.
PAYMENT METHODS Foster Photography offers the client's guests the option to purchase through the website via Pay Pal. Guests who pay via Paypal will incur transaction fees that are kept 'at cost' and cover Foster Photography's merchant/bank fees and administration costs.
MANAGING THE GIFT LIST The client has a choice of which items and services are posted on their registry list. The client who created the gift list will select a password which provides them with online access to alter the list of 'unpurchased' items at any time. Once an item has been 'purchased', it cannot be amended except during the "list closing" process (see below). Foster Photography Gift Registry will not divulge log-in details to anyone who is not an employee of the company but can accept no liability for the effects of any change made to a list as a result of unauthorised access to a list.
LIST CLOSING Once all the purchases on a wedding list have been made, or at any other time, either member of the bridal couple may instigate the closing process through their registry login. At this point they may cancel any particular purchase and apply the value of that purchase to their wedding list account. They may then use this credit to purchase any other items from the Foster Photography Gift Registry. The client will be liable to pay any outstanding balance on a product should the figure of the credit amount not cover the full cost of the client's chosen product.
FINAL ORDER Once the list is closed and any amendments made the client then confirms their final order. Only when the final order is confirmed and any payment due is made will Foster Photography order/create the items specified on the final order from the client. In the event that a client suspects a discrepancy in the final gift registry contribution value and the amount forwarded to them by Foster Photography the client should immediately contact Foster Photography to discuss. Should the matter not be resolved, Foster Photography will permit the client to engage an independent auditor (to be agreed on by both parties) at the client's expense, to settle the matter.
DELIVERY All products purchased by guests will be picked up by the client from Foster Photography. Gifts will not be delivered to the purchasers/guests. All services purchased by guests will be performed by Foster Photography for the client at the appropriately designated time of the service purchased.
DELIVERY CHARGES All products are to be picked up by the client from Foster Photography. If postal shipment is requested by the client, the client is responsible for the additional expense. Shipping expenses are to be paid prior to shipment of the designated products. Foster Photography is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the shipping process. Foster Photography is not responsible for items lost by the postal or shipping service provider. Items that have been delivered may not be returned or exchanged unless incorrectly supplied. Written notification of any incorrect items must be provided within 5 days of delivery/collection.
CONTRIBUTION REGISTRY Foster Photography offers guest the option to contribute money and the client can allot it to any service or product they choose. The client may not redeem this contribution in the form of cash. All contributions/money from guests must be redeemed in the form of products and services offered by Foster Photography. The client will be liable to pay any outstanding balance on a product should the contribution figure not cover the full cost of the client's chosen product. Guests will not be notified by Foster Photography as to how their money was allotted by the client.
GIFT STORAGE Gifts/products must be collected by the client within 30 days of notification of their arrival. Alternatively, a storage fee will be negotiated.
REFUND POLICY Foster Photography is under no obligation to give a refund on erroneous transactions, however it will do it best to help recover the Gift Givers money. Givers have 48 hours in which to notify What We Wish For of any transaction errors. Requests for refunds must be made via email to accounts@fosterphotography.com.au. The Gift Giver must outline the erroneous contribution, listing the date, amount, name of the Gift Giver, the receipt number and the nature of the error. Foster Photography may deduct bank or transaction charges for any refund processed to the Gift Giver. In the instance that Foster Photography or its financial institutions make an error, full refunds will be made to the relevant parties. Refunds will not be granted for "change of mind" by the giver. There is no circumstance in which a cash refund will be given to the client. All gifts to the client must be redeemed by the client in the form of products or services. Faulty products will be exchanged and Foster Photography must be notified of the fault at the time of collection.
ERRORS Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of products and services on the Foster Photography website, Foster Photography does not guarantee it. Foster Photography Gift Registry cannot be held responsible for errors. Information on Foster Photography's web sites may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies that may not be complete or current. Therefore Foster Photography reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice, including after client has submitted their registry.
CANCELLATION In the event of a cancelled gift registry, the bride and groom must provide written confirmation to place the list on hold. Foster Photography will refund the money to guests when authorised by both members of the couple. As Foster Photography does not hold credit card numbers on file, it is the client's responsibility to inform guests to contact Foster Photography for a full refund. Cancellation must take place prior to client "closing the account" and collecting gifts of service or product. The bridal couple will be subject to a 10% administrative charge on the value of the items purchased off the wedding list at the time of cancellation.
Foster Photography has the right to immediately and without consent shut down a Gift Registry website that has been inactive for 12 months. In this instance, Foster Photography is not obliged or liable to save any of the client's information or registry data.
